| Detailed Description | If you need to attach tape drives for backup and archiving to your Rackmount server and there is no space left to integrate the drives directly into your server, then the Rackmount Kit is the solution to add up to two additional tape drives in your 19" computer rack, consuming only 1U of rack space. With the broad requirements for data storage capacity Sony AIT tape drives offer solutions from 20GB native up to 200GB native per tape thus spanning from the entry level to the enterprise. All of Sony's internal SCSI AIT drives have been tested and qualified for compatibility. The KIT-RM/EU is equipped with brackets and screws for easy integration into any 19" computer rack. It can be fitted with up to two Internal AIT or DDS-4 SCSI drives. If needed an optional Rail Kit could be supplied. |
