The DFL-2500 firewall comes with a 3 month free IPS update upon registration which allows you to get automatic downloads of IPS patterns and signatures. The DFL2500IPS12 IPS subscription pack allows you to extend the IPS update service by 12 months. To activate the free 3 months or the 12 months subscription you need to register your product and subscription on the the D-Link NetDefend Security Portal. |
