| Detailed Description | The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000 (MSA1000) Small Business SAN G2 Kit is a 2Gb Fiber Channel storage solution designed for the Small to Medium size business customers. This Small Business SAN G2 Kit is designed to reduce the complexity, expense, and risk of SAN deployment. The MSA1000 is a scaleable, high-performance storage system built with investment protection in mind. The modular design of the MSA1000 allows the user to easily add storage capacity as needed. With the addition of two HP StorageWorks MSA30 disk enclosures with space for forty-two enterprise-class drives, maximum storage capacity significantly grows. With additional host bus adapters, a customer can support up to 9 hosts with access to a single MSA1000 for storage consolidation. The MSA1000 Small Business SAN G2 Kit is a member of the HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array family, delivering industry-leading technology to meet today's demanding and growing storage needs.
